Our sweet baby has finally arrived. On my way home from the night shift Saturday morning I started to have contractions and a few hours later this sweet girl arrived. Those dang night shifts. Born Saturday August 15 at 4:19 pm. She weighed 7lbs 1 ounce. So far, she is such a good baby. I'm crossing my fingers that she stays that way. Sadie and Mason love her to death. Other than being a little jaundice and having to keep her under billi lights all the time, she's doing great. We will post more pictures soon.

Camping Payson Lake

For my birthday this year all I wanted to do was go camping. It has been so long since we've gone, in fact the kids have never been. The kids did great, and except for a little rain, we had a blast.

It's amazing how kids can be entertained for hours just throwing rocks into a lake.

Of course the most favorite part of the trip had to be the yummy s'mores.

If you got some time and no money head to wheeler farm. My kids loved it, and did I say it's free. We debated on going to Lagoon or Cherry Hill which both cost quite a bit. We ended up at Wheeler Farm and my kids were just as happy. They loved seeing and feeding the animals. I was reminded that you don't have to spend a lot to have a great time with your family.

My Boy Has a Huge Noggin

I know, I'm the meanest mom ever. I had to take a picture of Mason's head stuck trying to reach for the broom. I couldn't figure out why he keeps getting his head stuck, until we went to the doctor's office today for his one year check up and got his stats.

Weight:21.6lbs 27%, Height: 28 1/4 8%, Head Circ.: 48cm 89%

Needless to say, my boys got one huge noggin.

Happy Birthday sweet Mason. How fast they grow. I can't believe it's been a whole year since this sweet boy joined our family. He is such a joy. He walks around all day with a huge smile on his face. He always brightens my day. Here are some of my favorite pictures of him.

Cruisin the Caribbean

We just got back from a cruise in the Caribbean. It was so fun. We had a blast visiting Jamaica, Grand Caymans, and Cozumel. Dan's brother Nathan and his wife Marianne went with us. It was so fun to spend time with them and get to know them better. Thanks Mom, Julie, and Kim for watching our kids. I could totally relax knowing that they were in good hands.

They had to reverse out route to avoid the hurricanes. I was worried, but we had good weather the whole time. Every Island we stopped at was beautiful. Here are some of our pictures.

I can't imagine how boring my life would be without Mason in it. He always keeps me going. I have learned a lot by being his mom. Today I learned to just enjoy the little messes they make and be glad that they are entertained while you are quickly trying to get ready for the day. How could I get mad at that cute face?

I must say that we had a fabulous fourth. We started the day out with, of course, the Centerville parade. Sadie got so much candy. About halfway through the parade she stopped running after candy and just waited for the pieces that would land right in front of her. We ended up with a huge sack full of candy.

We then headed to the Carnival in, of course, Centerville. It was nice chillin at the park and seeing some old friends. There is nothing better, or better for you, than carnival food. Sadie loved her pink cotton candy.

To end our fourth of July festivities we headed up Millcreek canyon for a yummy picnic. It was so fun to visit with family. We were going to end our day with Davis fireworks, but we were all tired and decided to head home for a little rest and relaxation. I love the fourth of July. It's so much fun to watch your kids as they watch the parade. To see the excitement in their eyes. I'm thankful to live in such a wonderful place where we can enjoy so many freedoms.

My Birthday

Dan bought me a new mountain bike for my birthday. I love it. It is so fun to go for rides with the whole family. We went on a bike trail in Syracuse near my mom's house. Mason and Sadie had huge smiles on their faces the whole time. Sadie yells to her dad to go faster and faster. I tell him to slow down. I can't wait to go on more fun bike rides with my family.

The Zoo

Sadie has been begging us for days to go to the Zoo. We finally gave in. It was the perfect time of year to go. Not to hot and not to crowded. Sadie says her favorite part was the monkeys. Dan likes the monkeys also, especially the ones with the funny looking bums. I liked the giraffes.

I Got Tagged!

Rules: List six favorite things....Then list who you want to tag.

I love so many things how can I list only six? Here I go.

#1 I love the outdoors. Camping, hiking, snowboarding, and wakeboarding. What can I say.. I'm my father's daughter. I was born to pee in the woods. Plus when you're in the mountains it's o.k. to burp as loud as you want.

#2 Scrapbooking. I know it's kinda nerdy, but I love it. Dan would say I like buying the stuff more than scrapbooking. Whatever, I like it all. I can embellish anything.

#3 Family. I love spending time with my family. I'm totally myself around my family, and can you believe it, they still love me. We sit around visiting, talking for hours about nothing. It's the best.

#4 What can I say I Love Sugar. Some of my favorites are SKOR candy bars, sugar babies, white chocolate covered pretzels, and almond rocha. MMMM, man do I love sugar.

#5 Sleeping. Anyone that knows me, knows that I love to sleep. Maybe it's because I work graveyards and loose a lot of sleep. I don't know but I love it. I get oh so grumpy without it or if I wake up before I get enough of it. I need my ZZZs or things get ugly.

#6 Chinese Food. Preferably from ABC mandarin in Roy. It drives Dan crazy, simply because he hates chinese food. I just can't get enough ham fried rice and eggrolls.

So I woke up today to find Mason in pink. Yes, Dan, his own dad, had dressed him in pink. He said Sadie's jammies were closer. I never thought Dan would dress his own son in pink. Guess I was wrong.

******************Sadie disappeared for awhile today. While I was looking for her, wondering what she was getting into, I heard a ring at the door. It was Sadie. She was so proud of herself. She had picked me some beautiful flowers. I didn't know if I should be mad or not. Good thing she's cute.

Sadie found this dress today, a hand-me-down from her cousin Stephanie, and just had to wear it. She is all girl. My little princess. She wanted to wear it to bed until I told her she could wear it in the morning.

Mason turns 6 months old

I can't believe my boy is six months old today. Where has time gone? He is such a happy boy. He has such a infectious smile. It brightens my day. He loves to laugh. He loves being tickled. He loves playing with his big sister. It's so fun to see Mason and Sadie interact with each other. You can tell that they love each other. From the beginning Sadie has always wanted to be by her brothers side. When he was two weeks old I found her in the crib with him trying to hold him. I freaked out, but looking back I think it was kinda cute.

Easter

What a beautiful Easter Day. Today we enjoyed a day at home with just the family. We went for a afternoon walk and enjoyed the Sunset. I'm so blessed. What a beautiful day.
